Minerva Imaging’s vision is to become the leading contract research and contract development organization for targeted radionuclide therapy and imaging, enabling improved treatment regimens for cancer patients. Our plans for the new in vitro research assistant

We are looking for a research assistant with a strong interest in performing in vitro assays. The ideal candidate takes ownership of projects, is proactive, and sets high quality standards for both study conduction and data deliveries. It is essential that you have a positive attitude and enjoy working with changing priorities and deadlines.

Your tasks:

  • Plan and execute external and internal research activities within oncology and cardiovascular diseases
  • Plan and conduct cellular and biochemical assays to characterize and provide mechanism-of-action data for drug candidates primarily within targeted radionuclide therapy
  • Write study protocols, analyze data, and report study results
  • Participate in the development and setup of new in vitro assays in collaboration with senior scientists
  • Communicate with all stakeholders both internal and external from technicians to Sponsor representatives
  • Be an active part in our cell culture team

Required qualifications:

  • Master’s degree within Natural or Life science
  • Have hands-on experience with molecular and cell-based assays as well as mammalian cell culture
  • Ability to plan, execute and report internal and external projects in collaboration with scientists
  • Take responsibility for driving key project activities to completion
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Previous work experience with radioactivity and/or molecular imaging techniques is an advantage but not a must
